About the Artist
Larry G. Johnson was a Georgia-based woodworker and lifelong craftsman whose artistic vision was rooted in simplicity, nature, and the soul of raw materials. His work with burlwood — one of the rarest and most expressive forms of timber — showcases a deep respect for the imperfections and individuality of each piece of wood.
What began as a craft became an identity. Larry shaped wood not by blueprint, but by intuition — letting the material guide him. Every piece in this collection is handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, and built to endure. These aren’t just bowls or sculptures. They’re the physical legacy of a man who let his hands speak louder than words.

Prices will be clearly marked at the sale. Pieces are priced affordably to move but fairly to honor the artist’s legacy.The family has decided that a portion of all proceeds will be given to local charities.
